Everything about the Rifflealp was over the top. This resort exceeded all our expectations. The staff was over the top accomodating.

Modern chalet building with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. Smallish but very functional rooms, well designed and quite comfortable.

Breakfast was good, although no American breakfast items. Sauna was a nice touch.

Location location, location. This hotel has a perfect location and faces the Matterhorn. It is difficult to imagine a better view.

The view was fantastic!! Super clean, spacious apartment. Very modern! Two outdoor spaces in our room, both with Matterhorn views. The waterfall shower setting was amazing! Mood lighting in the shower was an added bonus.

Absolutely stunning view. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was also of good quality and with the room rate, good value.

The pictures online don’t do it justice, beautiful chalet, with a wonderful spa. Just perfect after a great day on the slopes. The fire place and topping up of wood each day a big plus.

The breakfast was good with meats, cheeses and fresh breads. There was yogurt and cereals available. It would have been nice to have bacon and eggs available a day or two.

If you are skiing, the private platform for the gornergrat rail is absolutely stellar for getting you to the slope. You can almost fall out of bed onto the train and end up at the top of the mountain before anyone else.

Location ws the best. Breakfast two thumbs up. Free E-Bus to the slopes every 10 minutes and a short walk into town even in ski boots. And the spa and pools at the Rex were the perfect antidote after a long day skiing.
