Nice welcome by the reception staff and helpfulness of it during the stay. Good meals prepared and served with kindness by the local staff. Wild beautiful beach in front of the hotel. Peaceful place at day and night. Kindness of the owner Toby and a lot of personal paintings from his wife Lauren. Birds, trees, leaves and sometimes monkeys shouting. If you wish to stay for a while out of the crazy world, it’s a very good quiet spot.
Location, Puerto Jiménez is a very nice quite spot, mangroves, beach, town all within easy walking distance Chosa Manglar was a fabulous place with a private room set back in a mangrove garden, lots of wildlife just outside the door a good communal area and kitchen I extended my stay ii liked it so much. Would definitely recommend to backpackers and budget travellers. Will most certainly be back.

The property is very near to the bus stop which is convenient! Puerto Jiminez is small so it’s easy to get around from this spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked well and the place was clean.
