Gumi Ayu truly exceeded all of our expectations! It is a hidden gem in Munduk and very affordable with great food options. The hotel was tucked away in the valley with different cabins having a view of the waterfalls. We loved the hospitality of the staff, especially Nita’s who made our stay memorable. We had a balinese massage in the spa there which was one of the best we had in Bali. Would recommend this ecohotel to everyone.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The view and pool area were also good. The rooms were very standard, we didn't lack anything but there was no air conditioning, however a good mobile air fan. We got transport from the hotel and beyond, as well as they helped us well on our way on our hike in the area.
The perfect stay if you are in Munduk for the waterfall hike. The property is well located and there's an amazing view both from the balcony and the restaurant. The rooms are cosy, provided with a small fridge and an electric kettle. The host provides the map of the hike, you have to walk down the road and then begin from the Melanting waterfall. Be cautious about the way since there are no indications. When you see the first bamboo bridge, keep walking and then turn left.

Beautiful property. Nice pool area. Clean, spacious room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. if you don’t have a motorbike they will arrange transportation for you. The staff even made us to go breakfast for our departure day. So nice.
