The hotel is close to Ancient City, only 10 minutes walk. Hosts are hospitable people and can help with everything. They also can give bicycles and umbrellas. Room was clean with 2 big beds, no problems with a hot water.

The room was nothing special but staff are so nice and kind, and the food was so tasty. we didn’t book for dinner but when we ask them about dinner, they prepared biriyani for us and it was the best biriyani in our trip :) thank you so much :)

We liked the proximity to the small town area, the lake and sightseeing. The pool was very relaxing and we took a long swim after a busy day sightseeing. Easy walk to town with small eateries, restaurants and bakeries nearby. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the rice and curry was superb as was the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast the following morning. The staff were all lovely and helpful.
