This is a very nice hotel with an excellent location. I’ve stayed here several times and am very happy to have found it. As an American, I was especially pleased with several English language channels on the television.

Compared to other hotels, in the same category, in the area, San Marco is more comfortable, breakfast superior and the views ( if your room is located facing the TV tower ) much better.

It was clean and tidy. The staff were nice. They had a garage spot available, no extra charge. I arrived a bit earlier and they had the courtesy to let me in the room. Cable TV was an extra. It had eveything I needed at an affordable price.

It was quiet, the breakfast was outstanding, the air conditioning worked great and it was within walking distance to many restaurants and a mall.

The location is directly across the street from a beautiful, safe, clean beach. Morning breakfasts and evening cocktails in the top floor lounge were wonderful. All of the staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a fantastic stay.

The location was close to the motorway and with relatively easy accesibility to the beach and other Barra da Tijuca places. The bed was confortable, the room was quiet as I asked, the staff was pleasant and the food from the restaurant was good.
