WE had the best service, food and time during our visit! The staff went above and beyond with anything we needed. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere divine.

It's a great place in a beautiful old city with a lot of history but best of all is the staff - very friendly and welcoming and they speak good english.

The Albergo Del Sole was so empty due to the weather that Angelo and Illiana, the proprietors, moved me to a sister full service hotel in Sulmona called Holiday. They were accommodating and gracious. Offered free wine and a meal for my troubles.
