Wonderful, kind and helpful staff. Nice room, it wasn't busy and they kerri us choose our room. Helped with luggage, helped open our wine bottle, made the room up and changed towels. Great breakfast, friendly conversation, great coffee

A nice touch was when we arrived tired and hot with backpacks on our host immediately grabbed us each a cold bottle of water! Good, comfortable accommodation and good value.

The place was practically empty when we visited at the end of August. Strange but OK in the end. The room was very comfortable and our meal in the restaurant was fine. Not a bad place to break our journey though just a little bit off the motorway.
