Location Location Location - stunning views of Gjirokaster Castle from the room. Mountain views from outdoor breakfast seating. Super convient to wander around town, tricky to access hotel if you're driving but the parking is rather convenient.

Great staff. It is a motel, not a hotel. Everything was new and smelled new, close to the entrance of the city, Very clean and great price. The room was big enough.

We loved Hotel Praga. Only stayed the one night but felt very welcome. Isabella was really helpful in sorting our bus to Berat the day we checked out and we were able to leave our luggage in the dining room while we explored Gjirokaster. Breakfast was good, and the pool is a big bonus - especially during a heatwave. Possibly most importantly, the hotel has a pet tortoise who chills around the pool.

A very nice stay. The place was clean, the hosts were very welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The location is perfect, just behind the castle, 5 minutes walk to the entrance. Very good small and cosy restaurants...
