We enjoyed our stay and the staff were all very cordial. The food was excellent -- we had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel both nights that we stayed, and enjoyed everything we had.

hosts were very good, friendly and helpful. Quiet, park like setting. close to water. great for walking and biking! free bus pass to city! spa in walking distance. high end restaurant on ground floor. other eating / drinking options close!
The lady at the reception was very welcoming and took her time to explain to us how we could take the bus to Lindau center and Insel, which is only 15 minutes from the hotel (bus tickets are free because you pay city taxes to the hotel). The rooms were rather small, but everything was clean and comfortable, so we enjoyed our night here!

The room was very large with kitchen table for 2, and a separate restroom, the wifi was good and I like having orange water in the lobby to refill my bottle. The bed was comfortable and shower good with a strong jet.

Everything was excellent! I understand the hotel is historic and presents some restraints. I was expecting the room to be a tad larger but the view from the balcony made up for this.
