Neighborhood: Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
The place is steps away from sensoji templ and food market, souvenirs shops plus a 24 hour Donquijote, uniqlo, gu etc..not to mention family mart beside the hotel..but perfectly situated on the quite zone.. What more can u ask for??
The hotel is gorgeous, comfortable, in a peaceful part of Tokyo, and very well maintained. The bedding is comfortable, and self check-in/check-out process is seamless. Excellent value for the money!

Very accommodating hotel, as we were only staying for one night and wanted three beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. Great breakfast (typical Japanese) which was excellent value for money.
Clean and comfortable. Airport limousine bus to Haneda is conveniently located nearby. Good location to sightseeing in Asakusa especially when departing Tokyo since DonQ, Rox and other shopping nearby.

Tetsuro makes you feel incredibly welcome and is so helpful. We ended up doing an Edo period tour that he tailored for us and it was amazing. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and very functional! Having a stovetop, kettle, and fridge along with...
the washing machine and stovetop were so useful! Used the dehydration/heater function in the bathroom to dry my clothes so they would be ready to pack up again by the time we came back from exploring.
