Central location: easy access to many historical sites; great parking. The building itself is lovely. We were disappointed that one of the beautiful antique iron lamps that previously adorned the outside staircase was removed.

Not only it is located in a marvelous place but also the daily rates were totally worth it. The room we stayed had a balcony with a view of the city below and a well tended garden right underneath our room. The breakfast was a good one for the rate.

Basic Braga by Axis is a fair price and well localized hotel close to historic downtown. Gentle staff. Very simple, clean and convenient facilities. We enjoyed our stay over there!
