Comfy room, overlooking the water, close to restaurants, the best bakery ever (Loughs), coastal paths and bus stop. The owners were very welcoming and had a safe lockup for my bike, a big plus.

It’s easy to find , the stuff was very friendly and helpful.great location for going to Edinburgh.

Very friendly staff, lovely hotel and gardens, The room was comfortable , and a great shower. And the dogs goody welcome pack went down well with our two dogs.

The Castle Hotel is such close walk from the train station. We were greeted warmly and offered afternoon snacks, sandwiches and quiche. Was simply lovely after a long day of travel.

We had a lovely time at this cozy friendly hotel, the room was very clean and they had thoughtfully laid out an extra camp bed rather than me sharing a double with one of my daughters. They had left treats for my daughters in the room too....

I liked the staff who helped me out after I checked into location of the hotel with a small issue. The location was fantastic, and the place was neat and clean, basic but very nice for a short stay!! I'd stay again!! Very responsive

What a beautiful room in a historic building. It was excellent and extremely good value. Great host and the town of Berwick upon Tweed is a bit of a hidden gem.

It was delightful, the food was delicious, some the best smoked salmon I've ever had. The music and general atmosphere was superb , you couldn't meet a warmer or more welcoming place

the breakfast was lovely. the room and pub were very clean. the meals in the pub were very nice and the landlady and staff were very friendly will definitely call there again when up that way

Very lovely guesthouse, feel right at home. Hot tub and sauna was a bonus really good just to chill out for a few hours after being out for the day.

The breakfast was good and our hosts very friendly. Berwick was about a 25 minute walk , with a good choice of restaurants.

The general ambiance was superb - lots of friendly faces , made most welcome by staff and the locals Food is just a delight.

Location was excellent, staff amazing and the place had a nice homely feel with a lovely breakfast in with the fee which is rare these days. The bar was also homely and plenty of choice and we had the fillet steak which was amazing.

The breakfast offered a very good choice of quality products served on time by very attentive hosts, who were willing to offer advice on where to eat, where the good beer was available and where to visit in the region.

Was very charming, with heaps of character, located in the centre of Kelso, with plenty of parking
