Great location and wonderful front desk staff. Taxis can not drive into the Old Town, but the taxi stand is just across the street from the hotel so it is very convenient.

The receptionists were nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok. The room and bathroom was very spacious. The location is quite central, very close to the Guggenheim museum.

Great location, close to the Old Town but you should keep in mind that you'll need to go up the slopes returning to the hotel from the city center. Anyway, Bilbao subway will help you out and Santutxu station is 5-6 mins. away from Occidental Bilbao. Although the hotel is at pretty busy transport artery the district is great with an old church and a pedestrian alley and park right next to it. Friendly staff, clean interior and comfortable lobby that appeals you to have a coffee with croissant in the morning!

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet with no exterior noises. The breakfast was expansive, including fresh fruits, an assortment of breads, cereals, yogurt, juice, pastries...
