Comunication was great from start to finish. Our room was lovely, clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, great eggs and nice coffee. Location is fantastic, would highly reccomend The Avenue!

The location was great. The house was beautiful and the rooms were large and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and welcoming.

Breakfast is served at adjacent cafe. Start times are later than we would prefer but the food and service make up for that.

We got married in bakewell and had the honeymoon suite, the tables in the restaurant and the food qas fantastic.

Having stayed at the hotel each year (fishing in the Derbyshire Wye - paid) The location / views are exceptional. Very convenient for the fishing and walking. The renovated rooms are excellent (particularly with the balcony view)

Lovely little room - well thought out with plenty of plug sockets and a mirror within range of one (it is amazing how often you cannot plug a hairdryer in near a mirror!). Clean and comfortable bed and a good shower

Squeaky clean, spacious parking right outside of the room, big room, huge toilet, comfortable temperature
