The staff was super helpful and friendly, we especially appreciated their help setting up a taxi back to the airport. The food at dinner was scrumptious.

It's central to La Fortuna so restaurants & stores are walking distance. The hostel also gives you info for the bus on how to get there from San Jose Airport which is awesome & they can also set you up w/ tours and if you pay cash it's cheaper...

The place is on the edge of La Fortuna downtown, convenient place with many good restaurants close by. We had one room with 3 beds with A/C, very economical to save on hotel cost for a family who do not need luxury. Owner is very nice and respond...

The location was amazing-- right in town! Loved the large balcony overlooking the main road. Spacious. Huge shower. Comfy beds. Cute courtyard/pool. Nice employees. Kitschy and fun. Walkable to absolutely everything.

I had an amazing stay at Arenal Monara. The room was clean, confortable with a terrace and a view of the volcano. It is very close to the centre of La Forturna but still very quiet. The owners Angela & Armando are very friendly and helpful....
