Our dining experience was wonderful and the staff excellent and caring.... the room was excellent... it seems that the hotel has age but was clean and appealing...

The staff were very friendly and highly professional.

The property was clean and well kept with a countryside summer home vibe. The staff communicate promptly with check-in, check-out, and other details.

Amazing breakfast and service. Food and cocktails in the bar was so good and staff are so polite and helpful. We got the penthouse apartment, so spacious and has everything you could possibly need. Look forward to our next stay.

I liked everthing about Abbeyleix...that is why I booked a break there in former visits. Staff are exceptional, gracious, friendly, efficient; property is clean and well maintained, with an open fire already glowing for early breakfast !

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the countryside - a beautiful historic home and grounds. Breakfast and dinner were incredible and we were so grateful they could accommodate us with a custom vegan meal - truly gourmet. Kind and welcoming...

Lovely, place had so much room.. very nice owners. Would highly recommend it. Will be back again. We are local but stayed for a wedding so we're very happy we did.

Everything about this hotel was perfect to the receptionist Hazel was such a lovely warm welcoming lady thank you and the rest of the staff .

The breakfast was great value for money very nice the room was a nice size had the window open because got a bit to warm and we did have the smell of the cooking which was the only thing wrong

The Guest Home was a terrific home away from home. The room was clean and well appointed with outstanding linens, coffee/tea service and the host accommodated our early arrival.

The hotel is in a wonderfully central location, the facilities are excellent, the foyer inviting and the amenities wonderful. Stay here if comfort, quality and price matter to you.

The bed was very comfortable. Loved the shower. Accommodated our late check in.

Cozy rooms with welcoming decor and unbeatable location in the main square of Kildare. Great (Thai!) food at the pub downstairs. It’s a popular spot for locals to watch the match, and to party on weekends.

I loved the ease of checking in and out, the location and the decor of the room.

The room was a beautiful little cottage. The staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived and were extremely helpful.

Beautifully decorated hotel and very close to city center. Secured entry 24/7 via key fob. Amenities were superb in the room, including hairdryer, safe, iron, armoire and a nice added touch to see packs of cookies at the coffee/tea kettle counter...

Mary was very welcoming. The room was perfect for a one night stay for working nearby. I hope to book this room again in future.

The hotel staff are amazing, and they upgraded our room to the suite. The suite was awesome, and the decor was top-notch. The bed was very comfortable.
