Great old building. Nice place to stop if you want a shorter first day on the C2C trail. Nice breakfast and evening meal ( somewhat pricey ). Lovely outdoor garden. Good sized room.

It is only 28 minutes from Keswick so it is a great choice for a budget vacation in Lake District. I had Room 1 which was on the ground floor close to the entrance (but further from bathroom). Spacious, neat room. Host says bring own toiletries...
