As per previous stays, the property is stunning. So peaceful and picturesque. Jo is a great host and always available to help.
You won't get a better location in Exeter than the City Gate, less than 5 minutes from the centre. The bed was really comfortable, the breakfast was very good and all the staff were really friendly. The air-con worked well which is not always the case in hotels. Second time I have stayed here and would definitely stay again if I am in the area. They also have a lovely garden at the back for outside drinking / dining. If you have car, there's a car park opposite which gets locked at 11pm.
