We loved the history of the building and the village of South Zeals. We also liked the fact that it’s location in a partially unknown area of Devon made it less touristy.

The breakfast and indeed all of the food was phenomenal. Tabletops were a bit sticky, but we found this at many of the meals we ate in the UK.

Room was tucked away behind the Inn so very quiet. Lovely clean room with huge bed and large en-suite.
