Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Really excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Easy access from the motorway. Friendly hosts and a warm welcome.

The breakfast was excellent, room and shower were very clean. The host was helpful and friendly. We sat in the bar and had a lovely conversation with her. Highly recommend. My husband and I would stay there again.

Everybody was very friendly and even when the restaurant was closed they offered to prepare us something to eat and made us feel very welcomed. The food was very good as well. The place is dog friendly, that's why we chose it in the first place...

Very convenient as close to the motorway. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the (accessible) room was very spacious, with good amenities. The breakfast was good, I didn't try the evening menu.

Beautiful room with balcony. spotlessly clean and very comfy bed. Dinner in the restaurant was exhalent as was breakfast. All staff wer so lovely, welcoming and friendly.

Very homely Guest house , Chris and Tony were very friendly and made us feel at home . Lovely complimentary toiletries in our room. In the morning we were served an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Would definitely return.

Location was perfect coming from Newcastle Airport, the venue was very nice for a small intimate wedding renewal. Great grounds for some photos and lovely gift shops to browse and get local crafts. Overall it was a lovely 2 day short break.

At Hunters Lodge Hotel we got ample free parking, a comfortable room and a really good breakfast for a reasonable price.

Comfortable room with good hot shower and lots of outlets . The staff were very friendly and stored our bikes inside for us overnight. The breakfast was good.

The location . The hotel was a little dated decor wise but the owners made up for that , Elaine & Stan were so welcoming, food was amazing, great value for money. We will definitely be back there.
