Last Fairfield Inn (Fayetteville, NC) was 10 years ago. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and not secure. We checked out after one day of a three-day stay. This time was a most pleasant surprise.

Breakfast was normal hotel fair. Good coffee but it was located away from the actual breakfast area. The regular coffee was empty when I checked out and no one was around to ask to have it refilled.

The staff was SO accommodating, and it was incredible to have a kitchenette at that price! Great breakfast spread in the morning and the hotel was literally within walking distance of the attraction we were there for.
