My stay was great, I had the peace and quiet I was looking for. I purposely choose an intimate hotel as I don’t like crowded places. Friendly staff, really good cleaning service, restaurant food is very good. Was really happy with the private beach access that brought a luxurious aspect to my stay in Zanzibar. As a solo traveler, I felt safe in the room and hotel itself. If I ever go back in Zanzibar, I would probably stay at Imara again.

Best thing about hotel is that you can ask whatever you want and 99% of your wishes come true. As European I like some things made differently as they are in Africa but if you ask the hotel staff makes it! As example I can say they make awsome...

From check-in until check-out, everything went very well. The reception team, housekeeping, bartender, waitress, security were all very friendly and helpful. Amazing service. Value for money 100%.

Very nice place. Cosy. Lots og new funitures ect. Only beach beds needs and update. But Lots og them, and you can lay in shaddow. Food is food, ok price, but not so much to choose from. Seafood plate so big and so delicious. Enough for 2. Staff so...

The hospitality was top staff very kind and welcoming, I really liked there's a medical clinic on site and for travel a covid testing available with 24 hours just about a short drive away. I liked it enough to book a return this same week.
