We always enjoy everything about our stays at Woodland House Hotel. Our room was perfect for us, breakfast excellent and service with a smile, a chat, and however much time you want to spend there eating. No pressure in vacating the table

There was no breakfast as such but you could help yourself to freshly brewed coffee and toast - as much as you liked for no extra chgarge. Location good near centre of town. Room had everything you need. TV with freeview and I especially liked...

Everybody was very friendly and even when the restaurant was closed they offered to prepare us something to eat and made us feel very welcomed. The food was very good as well. The place is dog friendly, that's why we chose it in the first place...

The hotel was fabulous and although the room was a bit small the standard of the food more than made up for that disappointment. We both had steaks which were amazing and breakfast was great too. Couldn't fault it!.
